Italy
Where do I even begin? HEAVEN. BLISS. DREAMY. I walked a lot, ate a lot, saw a lot and learnt a lot. I honestly don’t know what to say about this trip. I remember feeling a tad anxious at the airport as it’s been a whilst since I’ve last flown and also the possibility of a very last-minute flight cancellation. Once I was in the air, my eyes were glued to the window, fixating on the beauty. Watched a lush sunset whilst on the descent. I will definitely do a separate post specifically about this but for now, this teaser, mini photo dump will do the talking, showing you what is to come. I need to finish my Edinburgh post first, yikes.
Weekend in Central London
I’m hardly in central London as it is a trek for me but when there are plans, I can’t say no. I would consider it a cheat day. It was a lovely day out with the bestie, meeting each other’s partner for the first time which was long overdue, catching up and getting the juicy details of her wedding and bridesmaid stuff. It’s the first time I’m going to be a bridesmaid so I am excited, dancing happily on the inside and still shocked that she’s getting married nevertheless! I’ve never been to Notting Hill before so this was new to me. Sadly, I didn’t have much time to explore it but fingers crossed I’ll find some time to properly explore it, like the tourist I am. We had a late lunch (Korean food) here then headed into Chinatown for dessert. Casually walking around Chinatown, stopping off here and there, we stumbled upon Five Friends Desserts (五条人) while on our way to Cafe de Nata and stopped off here instead for some traditional Chinese desserts. We eventually said our goodbyes, going in opposite directions on the Bakerloo line with the wall separating us on the platform (dramatic much?). Until next time, sad face.

- Currently reading Fire and Blood in the meantime.
- Over the moon that the final week of October is over. It’s been a stressful week.
- I was able to get my hands on Cirque du Soleil tickets for their January show. I’ve always wanted to watch their show.
How was your October?
