I’m terrible when it comes to protecting my skin from the sun and tend to solely rely on my BB cream but I hardly wear it nowadays. I don’t think twice about sunscreen and it’s starting to show more now, hello sun spots. They predominantly appear on my nose, the first area to burn whenever I’m out and exposed to the sun. I blame my own laziness and have paid the price. Could Wishtrend UV Defense Moist Cream SPF50 be the one to add persuade me to include it in my skincare routine?
I have received this product from Wishtrend for review purposes but all thoughts are my own. This post does contain affiliate links.

By Wishtrend UV Defense Moist Cream SPF50 is Wishtrend’s latest product release and their first SPF launch. You might be asking, what is special about this? Well, It was developed in collaboration with Amorepacific labs, South Korea’s leading beauty company, home to many beauty brands such as Laneige, Innisfree, Sulwhasoo, Etude and many more. With this in mind, you know for sure the quality is going to be a trustworthy product. With the rating of SPF50+ PA++++, this was strictly tested in three separate labs to ensure it provides the highest level of sun protection and that they’re not talking crap basically.
This sunscreen contains 5,000ppm of panthenol (vitamin b5) to hydrate your skin and improve the hydration density by 1,048%. With this huge increase, it’ll deeply hydrate the skin and improve fine lines. Oh, before I forget, it’s cruelty-free and vegan-friendly!
I’ve been putting this to the test for the past few weeks with the sun shining in London. This is the very last step in the skincare routine, applying two fingers length (index and middle) worth on my face. So how does it really do?
First things first, it has a moisturiser-like texture so it’s not thick when compared to other sunscreens and doesn’t leave a white cast that I dread. Two fingers’ length is enough to cover my whole face and the neck included, leaving me with a dewy look which I’m not used to but my skin feels hydrated even though the skin type is oily. It initially did sit on my skin but was absorbed afterwards without a heavy, tacky or greasy feel. It’s also a great base for makeup too. Suited for all skin types, definitely.
There is a slight green tint to it if you look closely. I’d like to think it’ll counteract with the redness on my face but it’s all in my imagination. It doesn’t and isn’t in Wishtrend’s claim, damn it. Despite it not being a mattifying product, it didn’t leave me looking like an oil slick by the end of the day nor did it break me out. I was left surprised. For the fine lines, it’s too early to say right now but I will keep an eye on it over time.
To answer my own question from the beginning of this post, possibly. I’m still not using this on a daily basis but it has given me a kick up the butt and I am honestly surprised by it. Thank you Wishtrend for launching UV Defense Moist Cream. A successful first sunscreen launch and would continue using it without a second thought! It’s already released (20th June) and you can follow @bywishtrend & @wishtrend for more details about this product and can be purchased here for $23.80.
