WAKES UP TIRED EYES
As a night owl, dark circles and dull eyes are hard to avoid. Even if I have a good nights sleep, I still have those pesky circles. Luckily I don’t have eye bags. I’ve tried a lot of rollerball eye products that claim to brighten dark circles but no luck. Then bloggers had influenced me purchasing this.
This cream has been marketed as a pink pearl shimmer cream and looking at the colour, it looked promising. With it being pink, it sounds like it would be more on the correcting side. It does make sense, doesn’t it? If you love this product, don’t hate me. Due to the shimmer, it does have that brightening effect once applied but it didn’t really last long on me. I haven’t seen an improvement on my dark circles, more like making them appear worse every time I apply this; meaning I need to use more concealer than usual. So sad.
It is a tad hydrating but it’s not enough for me. If you need something that’s more hydrating, this isn’t the one for you. The consistency is light, thin, creamy and smooth and you don’t need a lot for your eye area. It applies easily and sinks in quickly without leaving a greasy film, so you’re ready to apply makeup right away. I did find it is a good base for makeup though. For that refreshing feel, it works better when it’s in the fridge. Nice and cooling which probably helps with depuffing your eyes lashes.
This cream will by no means cover your dark circles and replace concealer. Maybe if your dark circles aren’t too noticeable in the first place, then it might. Am I the only blogger who isn’t keen on this? The hunt for an eye cream to improve dark circles continues.
Have you tried this yourself and liked it?
I haven't tried it myself but it sounds fab I'm always on the lookout for more creams to try x
Want to try origins but doesn't sound like the product for me to start with. I think you don't notice such a difference in 20s. I feel doesn't need eye cream for anything other than eye circles. I like an eye cream by Liz Earle actually lost it! X
This cream even looks like it will work! The colour looks refreshing somehow! I can't live without an eye cream at my age!
I normally really like origins stuff but I do need a lot of hydration so this might not be right for me x
I love the sound of this and have tried it in sachet form x
It's such a shame that it didn't seem to have long lasting effect and wasn't hydrating enough.
Not tried this one but been interested to find out more. I do need something hydrating but I'd like to try it anyway
This sounds lovely. I'm going to check it out.
I've been looking for a cream to help around !Y eyes so this might actually be the one for me. My skin is pretty dry around my eyes and a lot of creams irritate me
I've never thought about putting cream in the fridge for a more refreshing feeling. I'm going to give it a go!
I love Kiehls for eye creams, they have a great one that you apply at night time and that's the only one that ever had an affect on my dark circles.
It may work differently on different skin types. Putting it in the fridge is something I have never thought to do with my creams.
loved it although never tried any. This sounds amazing
Ahh, I don't think this would be for me then, as I need something really hydrating.
I've not used it, but it sounds so disappointing, which is a shame for a premium brand.
i have not tried the GinZing line from Origins but I have tried several Origins products from b-glowing including the Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask and I have had great results with all of them. I may have to try this one though.
