Blonde to Ribena

My days I need to trim my hair. But hello new hair colour after being blonde for a year. It was hard to part ways with my blonde hair but I got lazy to maintain it because of the roots. Roots grew to 3 inches and I just left it there. I was looking online for the perfect burgundy, mahogany shade. Been researching the perfect hair dye, looking online at before and after photos, reading reviews. Had decided on the hair dye brand and shade but then got to the shop, spent about an hour deciding on the shade after looking at the swatches on the box. I am really indecisive.

After picking a box, I had bleached my roots then waited a week to dye my hair this colour. The colour actually came out a lot more vibrant than I had expected. Guess it’s the blonde absorbing every colour molecule. I’m quite happy with the colour. Not use to it yet. Originally was looking for a brown with visible red undertones but ah wells. It is actually very bright in natural lighting but does look very dark in poor lighting. It’s more of a purple red, like a ribena shade.
